Our Chairman invites all employees to join him at various VIP staff events throughout the year. Recent events have included Ginetta Race Weekends, Christmas parties and both regional and national care events.
Ideal CareHomes operates a monthly award scheme for those special individuals who go out of their way to really make a difference to our residents and staff. Winners will be selected by the home manager and will receive a prize.

Ideal CareHomes will pay £100 to you for introducing a potential employee, on the condition that the individual is made an offer of employment and successfully completes a 6 month probationary period.
Ideal CareHomes provide all employees in all our homes with a comprehensive induction package. We also offer fully funded QCF (NVQ) training which is delivered in partnership with an external training provider.
As well as a comprehensive induction package employees are encouraged to attend specialist training such as Alzheimer’ Society Dementia training and empathy based training. This helps our staff deliver the best care possible to our residents.
If you are ambitious and want to further your career there are always opportunities available for promotion or to progress within our organisation. We encourage all our staff to be the best that they can be.
Your Ideal Future is our management training course that identifies our Ideal Home Managers and Deputies of the future. The 12 month course provides participants with the key areas of knowledge in order to run a successful home. You will learn about day to day home management including HR, current care practise legislation and how to make your home an Ideal place to live.
We are firm believers in supporting all our staff throughout their employment with us. You will have regular one to one’s with your line manager where you will discuss your performance and areas for development. This is also a great opportunity for a cup of tea and a catch up! As well this you will also have an annual appraisal which will identify your key successes throughout the year and your objectives for the year ahead.
