Beaumont Hall, on Beaumont Leys in Leicester, is a residential and dementia care home operated by Ideal Carehomes, whose head office is based in Garforth, Leeds.
The care home team are inviting members of the local community to come along to their gardens and cheer them on during their challenge next week, where balloons and cupcakes will be given out to visitors and passers-by who want to show their support by cheering them on and making a donation to Comic Relief.
Lee Daly, Beaumont Hall care home manager, said: “This is going to be a fantastic challenge for our team and we are really proud to be doing our bit for such an important cause.
“The bike we will be using is a special sit-down bike so we are even planning to rope in a few of our residents to take part.
“Please come on down to Beaumont Hall next Thursday or Friday to show your support to our care team and to help us raise as much as possible for Comic Relief.”
