Elworth Grange care home offers support to dementia carers
Elworth Grange care home is welcoming community members who are living with, or caring for someone with dementia to a monthly coffee morning in their vintage tea room.
In partnership with Dementia Friendly Sandbach, Elworth Grange care home, situated on James Brindley Drive, will invite those living with dementia and their carers to enjoy a hot drink and some freshly baked cakes.
Sponsored by Sandbach Partnership, Dementia Friendly Sandbach aims to create a safe and supportive environment for those living with dementia and their carers.
Emma Daniells, the Activities Coordinator at Elworth Grange, said,
‘By hosting this coffee morning, it has allowed us to create lasting relationships within the local community and given our residents the opportunity to meet new people.
‘We hope that by making this a monthly event, the people of Sandbach will see Elworth Grange as a safe and welcoming home for all of those living with dementia and their carers.’
The next coffee morning will take place at Elworth Grange on 25th July at 10:30am.
