Leicester Care home hosts free ‘Thursday Fun Day’ for families
Leicester care home, Bradley Hall, is inviting their community to join them every Thursday for some family fun.
With a bouncy castle, garden games, and home-made smoothies, staff and residents hope this will provide entertainment for local families.
Lee Daly, the Home Manager at Bradley Hall, said,
“We know how many people are struggling with the cost of living at the moment. With children being off school, there is a pressure to keep them entertained. We wanted to create a fun day for people to come along and enjoy with our wonderful care home.
“It also provides a great opportunity for our residents to get to know our neighbours and socialise with people they might not otherwise get to meet.”
Bradley Hall care worker and childminder, Shellie Walkerdine, said,
‘This is such a great opportunity for local families to be able to come out for the day, and have a bit of fun with the kids while they are off school.
‘It’s great to see all the residents and the children having a great time together!’
Bradley Hall will continue to welcome the public to Thursday Fun Day after the school holidays for preschool children.
