Sedgley Court care home in Dudley are supporting All Saints Church with the Black Country Food Bank by asking their community for donations.
The staff and residents at Sedgley Court have set up a food bank donation station in the foyer of the care home and would like to encourage their community to give anything they can.
Amy-Leigh Arnold, the Home Manager at Sedgley Court, said,

Reverend Calum Burke, the parish priest at All Saints Church often visits the residents at Sedgley Court to deliver communion. He said,
‘The Black Country Food Bank exists to feed local people in crisis. We live in a society where during the winter many in our community have to decide between heating or eating. I’m sure we all dream of a world where food banks don’t exist, but whilst they do it’s so important that we support our community by giving what food we can.’
87-year-old resident, Joan Marr, said,
‘I’m very grateful to Reverend Calum for coming to the home. I always attended church before moving to Sedgley Court, I enjoy the hymns and the communion very much.’
