Castleford Care Home Invite Families to Pop in and Pick Up a Packed Lunch During School Holidays

Newfield Lodge care home in Castleford is offering a helping hand to local families during the school holidays by handing out nutritious packed lunches for the little ones.

Every Friday between 28th July and 1st September, children will be able to pop in and pick up a packed lunch with sandwiches, fruit, juice, and some tasty treats.

The General Manager at Newfield Lodge, Lynn Robinson, said,

‘School holidays can be a tough time for parents. Finding activities to keep the kids occupied can quickly become a big expense, so we hope that our packed lunches will provide some support and reassurance for families who want to make the most of their time together this summer.

‘We’re always looking for ways to support our community, whether it be by bringing people together for exciting events such as our annual Christmas Fair or offering a helping hand to those who might need it.’
