‘Roll Up Roll Up’ to Cirque De Brook with Flixton Care Home Residents

Residents at De Brook Lodge care home in Flixton are inviting the local community to their first ever ‘Cirque De Brook’ Summer Fair on Saturday 27th July.

From 11:00, all are welcome to ‘roll up, roll up’ to De Brook Lodge to enjoy live entertainment from Zimmo the magician and singer Helen Aylott, as well as stalls, a bouncy castle, circus games, delicious refreshments and much more.

90-year-old De Brook Lodge resident, Beryl O’Neil, said, ‘I’m looking forward to seeing the people in our community come together, and I can’t wait for Helen to give us a good singsong and put a smile on everyone’s faces.’

Alan Eyres, the Home Manager at De Brook Lodge, added, ‘Cirque De Brook is set to be our greatest event of the year so far, our residents are all so excited for a day full of family fun with our neighbours.

‘All are welcome to join us, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.’
