Redditch Community Join Millcroft Care Home for Spooktacular Halloween Party!

Millcroft care home in Redditch welcomed local families for a ‘spooktacular’ Halloween Party this week.

Children from the surrounding area dressed in their best Halloween costumes to join the residents at Millcroft for games, dancing and devilish refreshments.

From witches, to pumpkins, to superheroes, partygoers went all out to celebrate with the homes’ residents.

98-year-old resident Edna Yeomans said, ‘It’s lovely having the children here; they bring so much life and they’re definitely never boring!’

After the festivities were over, the children took home a homemade Halloween cupcake and an invitation to Millcroft’s weekly Kids Community Cinema Saturday, where children are welcome to enjoy a family-friendly movie and popcorn whilst parents relax with a hot drink and a slice of cake.

Lyndsay Sard, the Home Manager at Millcroft said, ‘Since opening our doors in 2022 the local community have welcomed our home with open arms, so hosting free to all events like our Halloween Party and Kids Community Cinema is our way of giving back.
