Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, it is important that we protect our residents and staff.
Typical symptoms of Coronavirus include a high temperature, a new, continuous cough and a loss or change to sense of smell or taste. These symptoms may progress more in people with weakened immune systems, older people and those with long-term serious health conditions.
With this in mind, we wanted to let you know the steps we are taking in order to minimise the chances of the virus spreading within our homes.

In addition to the high standards of hygiene and cleanliness already in place within our homes, Ideal Carehomes has successfully launched an initiative called ‘Ideal Fresh Living’. This renewed focus towards infection control is our direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
From the frequent sanitising of all surfaces to frequent deep cleans and the hiring of extra staff to manage cleanliness, Fresh Living instills in our residents and their relatives a sense of safety and protection against the risk of infection. Each Home Manager and Regional Director perform regular routine audits to ensure that our high standards of sanitation are met.
Our modern, purpose-built care homes provide the perfect environment to implement natural ventilation into daily life.
