Bicester care home, Launton Grange, are proud to be sponsoring under eights football team, the Bicester Colts.
The Bicester Colts, who practice at Bicester Sports Association, couldn’t wait to try on their brand-new football kits, displaying the Launton Grange name next to their own.
Scott Freeman, the coach for the Bicester Colts, said, ‘Thank you, Launton Grange, for your support and sponsorship. The team is very grateful, and the kit looks amazing. We’re looking forward to welcoming the staff and residents to watch some of our games.’
When the boys from the team visited Launton Grange to show off their new kit, the residents were delighted to meet them.
77-year-old football fan, Maureen Wise, who got VIP treatment at Kassam Stadium when she attended an Oxford United match last year, said ‘the boys all look so smart in their new kits, I can’t wait to see them again and watch them play. I’ll definitely be on the side lines cheering them on.’
Since meeting the residents at Launton Grange, the Bicester Colts have become regular visitors, and look forward to attending the home’s Summer Fete later in the year.
The Home Manager at Launton Grange, Stephanie Eley, said,
‘We’re so excited and proud to be sponsoring the Bicester Colts. The boys were all so polite when they came to show us their new kits and we are looking forward to watching them grow into amazing footballers. We hope to see them visit us again soon!’
