Bradley Hall Care Home Residents Celebrate Leicester Pride with Community
Residents at Bradley Hall care home joined crowds of thousands at Leicester Pride at Abbey Park recently, where they celebrated diversity, acceptance and community.
Describing the event as ‘unforgettable’, the residents enjoyed the vibrant colours and powerful sense of togetherness, but most of all, the dancing.
88-year-old Freda Corrall said, ‘Regardless of age, we all had a fabulous time. My favourite part was dancing in the tent with everyone, I didn’t want to leave!’
Sarah Clark, the Home Manager at Bradley Hall, added, ‘It’s so important for our residents to feel a part of the wider community, and everyone at Leicester Pride were so welcoming.
‘Bradley Hall is a home where everyone is accepted, and I cannot thank all who met our residents at Leicester Pride enough for helping us make this such a fun, inclusive experience for them.’
You can join the residents at Bradley Hall for a delicious home-cooked meal on Thursday 26th September at the homes ‘Come Dine with Us’ event. All are welcome to come along to enjoy a three-course dinner from 4pm-6pm and get to know everyone at Bradley Hall.
