Staff and residents at Littleton Lodge care home in Cannock recently celebrated their ‘Super Second Birthday’ with a super-hero themed party.
Littleton Lodge opened their doors in 2021, and has since become a pillar of the community, hosting regular events for the local public, and offering quality care and support to those who need it.
87-year-old resident, Margaret Moore, was amongst the first residents to move into Littleton Lodge. Margaret said,
‘What I love most about living at Littleton Lodge is how friendly and helpful everyone is. I’m really happy living here, and we had such a great time at our second birthday party.’
Friends and neighbours were invited to celebrate the anniversary with lots of familiar faces, such as Spiderman, Superwoman and the Riddler.
Another resident, 87-year-old Kenneth Perry added, ‘What a wonderful afternoon we had! It was lovely to see everyone so happy and smiling at our birthday bash.’
Local entertainer, Nicole Lloyd, performed live music to get everyone on the dancefloor before enjoying some classic homemade American burgers, hotdogs, and cupcakes.
Home Manager at Littleton Lodge, Julie Anderson, said,
‘For the last two years, we’ve taken pride in providing quality, person-centred care to all who walk through our doors, and we will continue to do so for many years to come.
‘We’d like to thank everyone who joined us to celebrate our Super Second Birthday! We feel so lucky to be part of such a great community – your friendship and support means the world to us.’
