Residents from Littleton Lodge care home in Cannock took a trip to McArthur Glen recently, to perform a few random acts of kindness for members of their community.
The Littleton Lodge residents set out to show their love and appreciation, with fresh flowers and goodie bags in hand, to give out to members of the public.
The residents had a ‘wonderful’ time, and explained that ‘kindness can be anything, as long as it makes someone happy.’
74-year-old resident, Jean Rowley, said, ‘It’s made my afternoon to put a smile of people’s faces, even with such a small act.’
Littleton Lodge will also be inviting local over 65s to a Valentine’s Day Dinner and Dance, where they can enjoy a three-course meal with the residents and live entertainment by local singer, India Mae.
The Littleton Lodge residents have been preparing for Valentine’s Day by decorating their home with poems, hearts and collages to put on display.
