Bradley Hall care home in Leicester is sponsoring the Premier Stars Cheerleading team to compete in the German All Level Championships in Dusseldorf.
Premier Stars Cheerleading, which is a charity in the community, provides cheerleading classes and competition opportunities for children and adults. In 2024, three cheerleading teams will be travelling to compete in Dusseldorf.
The cheerleaders couldn’t wait to show the residents at Bradley Hall their cheer skills when they visited the home to thank everyone for the sponsorship. Debbie Willers, the Head Coach at Premier Stars Cheerleading, said,
‘The athletes really appreciate all help towards them being able to have the opportunity to compete in Europe. They’re all so excited and can’t thank Bradley Hall enough!’
96-year-old resident, Betty Seward, was very impressed by the cheerleading performance. Betty said, ‘I thought it was excellent, I couldn’t do their moves!
‘All the girls looked so pretty; their bright red lipstick looked lovely. Good luck to them, it’s a fantastic idea to sponsor the cheer teams.’
Sarah Clark, the Home Manager at Bradley Hall, added, ‘We’re always looking for ways to support our local community, and Premier Stars Cheerleading do such amazing work, we couldn’t wait to get in touch and offer a helping hand.
‘Our staff members and residents wish them all the best of luck as they prepare for their competition next year.’
