Coopers Croft Care Home Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Local Veterans Charity

Coopers Croft care home welcomed local charity, the Tri Services and Veterans Support Centre recently, for a three-course meal to express the home’s gratitude for the support provided to their resident veterans.

The Tri Services and Veterans Support Centre is run by veterans, for veterans, assisting them with housing, benefits, wellbeing, trips and social activities.

Alex Field, the Home Manager at Coopers Croft, said, ‘The Tri Services and Veterans Support Centre provides invaluable help and advice.

Every Friday morning, a member of the charity visits our home during our weekly Coffee Morning for a cuppa and a chat with our residents. This celebration was our way of showing our appreciation for the support and guidance they offer to our residents and the wider community.’

The veterans were welcomed to Coopers Croft with a red-carpet reception before taking their seats to enjoy a home-cooked, three-course meal.

Geoff Harrison, the Chairman of the Tri Services and Veterans Support Centre, added, ‘The meal at Coopers Croft was wonderful. Our local veterans are one big family and will always make time to support each other.’
