The first residents to move into a new state-of-the-art care home in Mappleborough Green are being invited to play a special role in establishing the home and shaping its future.
Haywood Lodge’s founding residents will all benefit from a reduced weekly fee for a fixed period while receiving all the usual, fully inclusive, benefits including regular hair and chiropody appointments, day trips and activities, a wide-ranging and nutritious menu, laundry, housekeeping, newspapers and magazines, and 24-hour care.
As founding residents, they will be involved in setting up the new home, giving them the opportunity to help create new menus and plan activities and trips, alongside the care home’s brand-new team of care staff, managers and their very own activity co-ordinator.
As a thank you for their involvement, input, and ideas, the founding residents will pay a reduced weekly fee of £1,100 per week, a saving of £100 every week until the end of 2022.
