Residential and dementia care provider, Ideal Carehomes, has received the keys to its 30thluxury care home development, Haywood Lodge in Warwickshire.
Ideal has doubled its portfolio of care homes in the last five years, with eight brand new homes opening during the last two years of the pandemic and four opening in 2022.
Haywood Lodge has benefitted from a £12 million investment and will open its doors to welcome new residents later this month.
The state-of-the-art care home, which is located on Warwick Highway in Mappleborough Green, has all the finishing touches you would expect from a luxurious new home, including landscaped gardens, a luxurious cinema, café area, garden rooms, library, hair salon and convenience store.
Ideal Carehomes received the keys last week to another £12million development, Blakelands Lodge in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, which will also open later this month.
All Ideal Carehomes’ teams are supported by the latest in care technology and are committed to providing person-centred care and promoting independence as far as possible. Ideal Carehomes’ approach has been recognised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) which has rated the majority of its care homes as either good or outstanding.
All its care staff receive paid breaks, consistent shift patterns, health and wellbeing support, industry-leading training and development via the ‘Ideal Academy’, and access to a management development programme, along with many other employee benefits.
In March, Ideal Carehomes announced a second pay increase for all its hourly paid staff, giving them a 9% pay increase in the last six months alone, a total investment of £3million, taking all its salaries significantly above the current real living wage. The pay increase has been awarded in recognition of the high quality of care being delivered to its residents whilst the challenges of the pandemic have continued in to 2022.
