Residents from Millcroft care home in Redditch are inviting the community to their first ever Summer Fete on Saturday 5th August from 12:00 until 15:00.
Taking place in the care home’s gardens, guests will be able to play funfair-themed games, browse stalls from local businesses, enjoy pony rides and a bouncy castle, and even make their own model airplanes.
The Millcroft kitchen team will be firing up the BBQ with classic burgers, hotdogs, and lots of other tasty treats. 94-year-old Millcroft resident, Mary Foster, said, ‘I’m really looking forward to the whole afternoon – especially seeing the pony!’
Lyndsay Sard, the Home Manager at Millcroft, added, ‘We’re all very excited to welcome everyone to our beautiful home for our Summer Fete.
‘Since opening our doors in December 2022, it’s been heartwarming to see the support we have received from our local community, so this is our way of saying thank you. Everyone is always welcome at Millcroft – even if you just fancy a cuppa and a chat.’
