Studley Care Home to Host ‘Teacher’s Breakfast’ in Honour of Local Educators
Residents at Haywood Lodge care home in Redditch are showing their appreciation for teachers in the area by inviting them to a Teacher’s Breakfast on Thursday 30th May.
From 9:00 until 11:00 all teachers will be welcomed to Haywood Lodge to enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast with the residents as a thank you for all they do in the community.
87-year-old Haywood Lodge resident John Moore, whose daughter was a teacher, said ‘Our teachers deserve recognition. They work hard, they’re very conscientious. The education system has changed so much over the years, and they’ve had to evolve with it.’
Georgia Cooney, the Home Manager at Haywood Lodge, added, ‘Teachers are the unsung heroes of every community. Over the past couple of years, we’ve built some amazing relationships with local schools, and this is our way of thanking them for their commitment to educating our young people.’
Haywood Lodge’s Teacher’s Breakfast will take place at the home on Warwick Highway, Mappleborough Green, Studley B80 7DG.
