Care staff at Hepworth House care home in Wakefield are organising a Short Film Festival for residents and are inviting the local community to submit their entries.
All the entries must be films that they have made themselves and will be showcased in the care home’s cinema room on Friday 18th February for residents and staff to judge.
The winner will then be invited to the care home for a photograph, in line with all current Covid guidelines, and will be announced on social media and in the local press.
Activities co-ordinator, Helen Brady, said: “We are always looking for new, fun ways to engage with our community and enrich the lives of our residents and we know there is so much talent out there in our community.
“With our cinema room at Hepworth House, the Short Film Festival will be a lovely way to showcase some fabulous local talent.”
All entrants to the Hepworth House Short Film Festival will need to confirm that they are happy for their film to be shown publicly and that they consent for the care home to share their short film and use their information for promotional purposes.
